Ate here with Mates for their duck and pinot special night. They evidently do different special nights each week. Had cassoulet was really good. Another had pie of the day and said it was also very good. Good wine list and beers on tap. Pleasant service. We ate in bar area but restaurant very nice. Traditional style of pub tucked... More

I stayed at accommodation only a few minutes and would never have found this Hotel tucked away in a Suburban street only a minutes walk from the station. met one of my kids for a pint during the afternoon, an old style quiet pub with a great outdoor beer garden. When we noted it was duck and Pinot night that... More

Tucked away in the prettiest street in Richmond close to Richmond West rail station and hidden behind a simple front it is an ideal venue for lunch before a 10 minute walk to the football at the MCG. Having entered the hotel first impression is less than impressive. However the rear brightens up and opens out to a nice dining... More

Had lunch here today with friends. We've been here a few times before and the food and service has been great each time. The staff are very friendly, helpful and have a great sense of humour. As stated, the food is very good and reasonably priced and the atmosphere of the pub is very warm and welcoming. It's like going... More

The exterior of this inner suburban pub gives no indication of the wonderfully open space it leads to. The front bar and eating area is itself a pleasant enough space but it leads to a georgeous al-fresco dining setting or if one prefers, a formal, white cloth restaurant. We sat in the open-air on a lovely day and enjoyed both... More

We sat in the restaurant area. The food was very good and it was a good portion. Waiter was very friendly. The outside area was very busy and children were welcome

So we were calling in to see what the Kingston is all about nowadays. My wife was driving she wanted a light beer, preferably a 7oz. Me, a pot of Carlton. That would be $12.50 so $5 for the heavy and $7.50 for a stubbie of light if you don't mind! Not terribly responsible I wouldn't have thought. Surely one... More

Would give it a 6/5 if i could. We live not far from the Kingston and we count ourselves very lucky to be able to call it our local. Just a quiet and relaxed atmosphere which you don't really get in a lot of pubs this close to the city. Great beers on tap (Stone & Wood, White Rabbit, &... More

Had a great casual dinner in the big red chairs at the front of the hotel last night. Lovely food presentation, large meals and good staff

Good food and service was delivered at this restaurant. It has a good atmosphere and decor. The prices were reasonable. I would go again.
