What a great evening we had and the long lockdown wait was very worth it. Your knowledge about Italy, the various ingredients and for us more importantly where to source these in Melbourne was an invaluable advice. Sorry we extended our stay by 30 minutes...or so but your home is so inviting we could have stayed much longer. Lovely to meet you and will certainly return.More

La cucina di Sandra, right from the moment you enter her home, you get the impression you're not in for just another 3 course dinner. Her knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine is palpable. While you dine at her bar, or table, the experience can...truly can reach your soul, something that authentic dining should achieve. You will learn technical skills in food prepation and cooking that are undoubtedly helpful. In addition to being educative, meeting others to share the evening with only serves to enrichen you by reminding you that food brings people together. I came to learn a few new dishes, and left with a sense of reassurance as to why food nourishes more than just the stomach.More

Sandra is a generous host, welcoming her guests into her eclectic home. My friends took me to “A Night in Rome” as a gift for a special birthday, and what a treat it was. Watching Sandra prepare her delicious courses while sharing her knowledge about...the ingredients, her Italian heritage, her COVID lockdown YouTube discoveries and instructions on local suppliers to source ingredients kept us all entertained and informed. Sitting ‘a tavola’ and sharing the meal with other participants was all part of the fun. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience, Sandra.More

My husband and I attended Sandra's gnocchi making class and were both really impressed with how well run the class was. We have done a number of cooking classes and this was definitely one of our favourites. Sandra's recipes were easy to follow and her...hints and tips along the way will definitely be used again not just in gnocchi making but with our day to day cooking. Sandra was really well organised with all ingredients weighed and ready to go which highlighted the benefit of preparation before starting to cook. The food we cooked was all really delicious and we can't wait to make it again. The class allowed for lots of questions and we had plenty of discussion around everyone's trips to Italy which only makes us look forward to being able to travel there again. We look forward to trying other classes with Sandra.More

Sandra’s Sicilian class was brilliant! Sandra was passionate, informative and exciting to watch in her kitchen. We not only learned about Sicilian cooking, but italian cuisine as a whole, and the importance of using quality ingredients. And obviously the food was delicious! We were captivated...by Sandra’s knowledge, nature and skill in the kitchen and we hope to be back to see her other classes in the future!More

I was so happy that I could join Nonna's cooking class and I enjoyed it so much. We had 4 courses(italian meatballs, peas&pancetta pasta, chicken porcini casserole w/ fennel sidedish and panna cotta), everything she made was so delicious and the class was very organized....You can pick up her cooking tips, learn about the ingredients and products, and ask whatever questions you may have during the class. She's so nice and makes you feel comfortable with the other people as well. And the recipes she provided have been my favourite since then. They’d be great for both hosting for a special occasion and everyday meals. I live in the States and was visiting Melbourne in mid November. I found out about Sandra's cooking class and tried to book two weeks before the class I wanted to attend, but it was fully booked until March next year! It made me want to go even more, so I contacted Sandra to ask her to put me on the waiting-list for that date in case there is a last-minute cancellation. She promptly and graciously responded to me and it luckily worked out for me. Thank you so much to Sandra. I wish I could come back. I definitely highly recommend to everyone.More

We had a wonderful night at Sandra’s. To sit and watch her cook and explain all the ingredients, cooking methods, family stories was wonderful. She makes you feel comfortable from arriving. What I appreciated most was learning methods that I didn’t realise. I have cooked...for my family for years but I still learnt so much. I was inspired and went shopping at Boccaccio’s the next day, cooking the pasta and dessert for dinner, and planned trips to the shops recommended. Also her shopping hints are invaluable, I now look for the perfect pasta.More

I organised a night here as a surprise for myself and some family members and we all loved it!! Sandra was so welcoming, knowledgeable and the food was extremely delicious!! We enjoyed the fact that we could sit at the bench while Sandra cooked and...shared stories of the history of food, regions of Italy and most notably where to source the best ingredients. We did the Puglia class and are already discussing which class we would like to attend next. Thanks for a great evening Sandra, we would highly recommend!!More

I gave a cooking class to a friend and her husband as a birthday present and accompanied them. Sandra is a lovely person and importantly, a fantastic teacher - we got so much out of the evening. It works out as a very cheap learning...experience as we prepared a four course meal which we got to eat. The food was simply fantastic - best pasta I have had. I cannot recommend La Cucina Di Sandra highly enough and we are ready to book again !More
