Recently awarded a Michelin star this is a marvellous relaxingly casual culinary delight. We had seafood which was cooked to perfection. Traditional French cooking with local ingredients. Nice service and great sea views. Very good wine list with helpful sommelier. Just wish wonderful.

The food in the Liegoise restaurant is sublime. I struggle to find somewhere as good in the UK. The rooms are spacious, the view out to sea always stimulating. The promenade is right outside the hotel door and provides an enjoyable walk when it's fine...More

Were served an excellent meal, with very imaginative dishes. Great value for money if you include staying in the hotel that goes with the restaurant.

Had a delightful 6 course meal here. By mistake ordered the sea urchin as one course and glad I did as it was amazing with a fois gras concoction blended in. Turbot also fantastic. Service attentive but not overbearing. Certainly could be in the running...More

I have not visited the restaurant for 10 years when I regularly entertained customers from London for lunch. Is it under the same ownership and it is still one of the best, easily accessible eateries from Le Shuttle?

La Liegeoise is still under the same ownership, the Delpierre family but the son Benjamin is now co-chef with his father Alain. The food is still exceptional. It is 30 minutes from shuttle in Wimereux. There isn't a better... More

Description
Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away on the first floor of the swanky Atlantic Hotel. This restaurant has buckets of old-school seaside style, and regulars recommend ordering the Promenade en Mer a selection of up to seven courses from Alain Delpierres innovative French menu. Favourites include the fresh foie gras with fig compote; the roasted lamb with aubergines and garlic jus; and the white chocolate rice pudding with mint ice cream.
