The six course tasting menu, at €70pp, is certainly pricey, but given the quality, presentation and taste of the food, we felt it was worth the expense. There was an eight course taster for an additional €20pp. These taster menus can also be paired up...More

We stopped on the seafront and ate ice cream and had coffee. Good and service were good as the spot was really lovely. Prices were high as you'd expect given the location but a nice experience.

Recently awarded a Michelin star this is a marvellous relaxingly casual culinary delight. We had seafood which was cooked to perfection. Traditional French cooking with local ingredients. Nice service and great sea views. Very good wine list with helpful sommelier. Just wish wonderful.

Description
Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away on the first floor of the swanky Atlantic Hotel. This restaurant has buckets of old-school seaside style, and regulars recommend ordering the Promenade en Mer a selection of up to seven courses from Alain Delpierres innovative French menu. Favourites include the fresh foie gras with fig compote; the roasted lamb with aubergines and garlic jus; and the white chocolate rice pudding with mint ice cream.
