As we were already in ltaly, l thought l might surprise my husband with dinner and an overnight stay here to celebrate his birthday. The family joined us for what was to be an unforgettable evening. The food was good, not the best, but the night was a night to remember. The staff were attentive and friendly and best of... More

Please don't allow the title to sway you; keep your expectations real. Bottom line: if you want to make an impression and get hubby points for taking your wife out on a romantic dinner date, this is the place; it is loaded with ambiance! However, I am unsure if the food equals the ambiance. Would it be better to eat... More

My husband and I had an extraordinary lunch at this restaurant during our visit to the Polignano a Mare. You can describe the atmosphere in one word - Unique. The service was on a high level as one would expect from such place (consider service charge Eur 10 per cover) but still a room for improvement. Food is average. The... More

I had this place on my bucket list of places to see when in Italy. It was amazing to be there and experience being in a seaside grotto. We were seated towards the back near an open cave pool where you can see the water coming in and out. Birds flew in over our heads whilst we ate. The service... More

This is the most incredible place to dine. Regarding the food, it's absolutely fine, not bad at all, I had lovely fish courses and a great dessert. The same goes for the service, I found it to be good. You are paying to enter the most majestic dining setting that will leave you completely stunned and awestruck during and afterwards... More

But for the place. And i ve never saw prettier restaurant than that. Was my second time. For special occasion. All dishes... More

Except for the location, nothing is worth this expensive adventure. For 2 meals, a bottle of water, 1 tea and 1 glass of wine we paid €120. The service was terrible: we received a table in the middle of the terrace and as we hadn't received our meal yet, I asked the waiter if he would be able to move... More

This was probably my worst dining experience ever.,! Really €40 euro for a plate of pasta that was greasy and had little flavour. €10 per person cover charge? There are some great restaurants inPolignano with good ambience and lovely food. Far superior quality to this overpriced establishment. I have paid less in Michelin Star restaurants. I came away feeling as... More

The restaurant is very beautiful, it is definitely a perfect place for special celebrations. Food was great, portions quite small as you would expect from fancy restaurant. They had amazing selection of wines and staff was knowledgeable enough to give advice. Only downfall is the cost. It is very expensive! Top restaurants in London, Paris or Rome charge similar prices... More
