Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely atmosphere, good seafood and great service. I enjoyed the seabass. The canarian potatoes and sauce and salad complemented the beautifully grilled fish. I chose the scallops to start. They were tasty and I knew in advance that scallops are always expensive. I felt the...ham and sauce slightly overpowered the delicate flavour of scallop but that is just my taste. Thank you for a lovely meal and for the liquer in the house at the end. I would live to return to try your paella!More

This was a lovely meal near the waterfront. We had chorizo and croquettes to start followed by paella for two. I thought the bill was pretty reasonable. Would return.

Fantastic fish menu, paella and steak as well. I took my young sons and the they christened my 9 year old the hombre grande as he devoured the ribeye steak. Located on the harbour and nice view on boats once you arrive. No complaints only...stats from us. Even 12 year old loved fresh fish with head onMore

lovely location with view over harbour. Not too busy when we visited but still a decent atmosphere. Fresh fish was cooked well but would have been nice to have had an option of potatoes rather than the standard boiled. The meat paella was quite tasteless....Not the best option. Staff friendly but it didn’t quite hit the spot for us!More

Late lunch, wanting to watch the fishing boats come back in. Staff extremely friendly and attentive without being in your face. We had the scallops which were beautiful, (have noticed others saying expensive for 6 small scallops), and served in a lovely sauce with Iberian...ham. We then shared a lasagne and a bottle of very tasty white wine. Extra glass of wine and a very generous Irish coffee and bill was €53. Had a lovely conversation with Dessi, (owner’s wife) and made friends with her dog, Rollie. All in all, a fabulous experience with the best food we’ve had all holiday. Booked to go back for an evening meal on Friday. Thank you, all, for a most pleasant and relaxed experience. SallyMore

We visited here last August. This time we had to make a reservation for so speaks volumes... We ordered a few tapas to start ( sorry everyone dove in before I could take a picture) followed by the Special Seafood Platter for 2. It was...exceptionally fresh, well cooked and not overly seasoned to allow the fish to do the talking. The owner waited on us and he was lovely. We even aged a dessert but only because it was a very relaxed evening and we wasn't rushed. Highly recommendMore

We came here for dinner on Valentine's Day, having booked it via an email (dessislava_tzv@yahoo.ca) . This is a family run restaurant, the son is a fisherman who brings his daily catch to his parents. They were serving us - the dad is usually in...the kitchen but they had waiting staff off sick. He sat us in the terrace, outdoors overlooking the harbour. The restaurant is in the harbour, actually. It being Valentine's Day, we decided to go for the Special Grilled Fresh Fish and Seafood Assorted Platter. We were going to have the Gofio for a starter but the dad advised us that it would be too much if we were having the special. I appreciate wise advice, not trying to sell you something! So we started out with Aperol Spritz's, garlic bread for the boys, Homemade Fish Croquettes and the Grilled Manchego Cheese with Tomato Marmalade. All yummy, but especially the manchego!! That really worked. Our steak-loving eldest went for the ribeye and asked for medium rare (our usual). It came a bit on the rare side, but it clearly tasted good enough that he ate it up. Our fish-loving youngest went for the children's fish and chips, which I was pleased was not fried and battered, but clean and fresh and healthy, and he made short work of it. Both came with fries/chips and veg/salad. Our amazing seafood platter had a wide variety of prawns, plus razor crabs, red snapper, amberjack fish (these two were the specials of the day), little scallops, clams, mussels, squid...see the pictures! And a very gorgeous fish sauce. It also came with those nice little Canarian potatoes and a yummy red mole sauce, as well as salad. We were glad we hadn't had a heavy starter! It was all delicious, especially the little red prawns which were somehow sweet. For dessert our elder son had the creme brule and I had the lemon sorbet with cava (see picture for both). Our younger son had the apple crumble and my husband had I think the polvito uruguayo, some cream and chocolate and goodness knows what combo in a pot. All yummy. We will definitely go back next year, especially as we have already re-booked the Servatur Puerto Azul, our new favourite hotel in Puerto Rico. This restaurant is a find. (Their only "website" appears to be their Facebook page, which is why I included the email at the beginning of this review.)More

We turned up here (five of us) about 8.30, having been let down by the restaurant we booked. We were made so welcome, a table made up even though we had no reservation. The staff are so friendly, the food is lovely and really good...value. Most of us started with a tomato bruschetta which was very tasty. Then a mixture of fresh fish of the day (snapper), a seafood paella and squid. All washed down with a very good value Verdejo. We really enjoyed it all, this place is well worth a visit!More
