Odd name but long established and very busy, bit too busy really so service wasn't the best. Starters - garlic prawns were gritty(nasty black digestive tract left in) but onion soup was good. Mains - veal with pepper sauce was a bit chewy for veal and the lamb shanks were good and plentiful. Coffee - OK. Service was patchy, waiters... More

As good a meal as I have had in any country!!!!! Staff great, good drinks range and wonderful steak that should be enjoyed by all.

Cant understand why this place is popular !! Had fillet steak drowned in a sub standard bland sauce with boring uninteresting vegetables by staff who were more interested in sucking up to the regulars and ignoring the new visitors like us The meal was exactly double the price of a far better meal we had 2 days later right on... Was recommended this restaurant by the owner of the villa we stayed in. Its certainly popular, not as expensive as Amadores Beach but its also fast turnaround so fast waiter service, and the food comes up fairly quickly. But.. the food is good. No question about that. Lots of people celebrating birthdays etc, so it's good for groups. Good atmosphere.... More

Came with large group and they were very accommodating. The food and drinks were good along with a very friendly staff. We ran into one of our waitors the next day in the grocery store and he remembered us and told us which beaches were the best.

Dinner is good especially the more local meals. Do take the Mexican special coffee if not for the alcohol then at least for the show ;-)

We visited here as it was close to out hotel. What a mistake. We both ordered seabass and it was totally overcooked to the point that the bottom of it was totally brown edging on burnt. We had a bottle of wine that was not topped up once despite staff passing constantly. Our waiter was grumpy and totally uninterested. There... More

Maybe it was because we ordered tapas and 'main' meals might have been better because we found the food decidedly average. Not a bad price though and drinks quite reasonable too.

Visited Guantanamo for the second time with friends. The service is great welcoming and the food excellent. All the dishes were fantastic steak so soft cooked to perfection and very filling. Will be coming again next time we visit.
