Disappointing

Really disappointing. Staff surly, fish and chips - nice batter but very dry chips and tasteless fish. Husband had chicken n mushroom pie which was soggy and not properly cooked. Very expensive for the quality.

Staff improvements needed

Food is OK. A bit expensive for take out option and staff really need to up their game. Some people are on holiday and made to feel a nuisance.

Best fish and chip shop around!!

Best fish and chips in Teignmouth in our opinion

We came across Finn Mc Cools the fish and chip shop whilst in Teignmouth for the day...6th Sept 2023...11.40 so we went back just past 12 o'clock had the best fish and chips we have had for ages...batter perfect...chips perfect....cod goid portion and perfectly cooked...Ted...our Jack Russell was okay to be with us...really enjoyable meal...my wufe had chicken nuggets and chips...cooked perfectly too...we will returnMore

Annoying

We've been coming here for years and it's gone downhill I'm afraid. My 14 year old son ordered a portion of chips and we waited about 15 minutes outside. I moved inside to see if we hadn't been forgotten about as it was about 3pm...and not that busy. After standing there for a while I was asked to wait outside, how long does it take to serve 1 portion of chips!!!!!!!. We will be going elsewhere from now on.More

Overall Great!

Over priced poor food

Over priced rubbish the waiting staff are joyless to say the least really do not want to be there very poor and the scampi we ordered as part of the meal they forgot to pass thought to the kitchen so got the 2.35pence peas but...had to wait for the rest. children's meal was just about all batter over cooked and tasteless obviously will not be returning as i would suggest to anybody elseMore

Lunchtime for two

We were originally going to go somewhere else on the other side of town for our cod and chips but passed this place en route to the coastal walk to Holcombe and decided to pop in on our return. Very glad we did. Good value...lunch time deal with cod and chips, tea and bread and butter for two. Food was very tasty and the service was excellent.More

Evening meal.

First night in Teignmouth, no a clue where to eat, came across Finn Mccools, Excellent Hake and chips and children's mini fish, absolutely EXCELLENT.

Day at the seaside with fsh n chips

We had the cod and chips special with Bread n Butter. Food excellent. Cool in the mid day heat.Went outside and had Ice cream (99) on sea front.

Lovely food

Beautiful fish & chips, staff where very kind, seating area outside is perfect. We decided to go take out a 1 minute walk to the beach and eat ours there though.
