Very busy and a popular place. The food was a little bit pricey but it was good and portions were generous. The beer was excellent too!

We went today & thoroughly enjoyed the meal in this very popular place. We were served by the capable Andre, & enjoyed a superb chicken, bacon & anchovies Caesar salad, & an African chicken dish. We will be back!

We are a walking group who like to start each walk with a bacon sandwich and tea or coffee. Our requirements were stated and agreed in advance of the visit. We have got through quite a few bacon sandwiches over the past few months and have developed some benchmarks. The bacon sandwiches at The Feathers were good - high in... More

Great traditional pub serving quality food, slightly overpriced but to be expected in the location. There were many people dining on the cold, wet, week day afternoon when we visited, service was brisk and our order arrived quickly. Well presented in warm welcoming atmosphere. Thanks, just right.

We had lunches and also a dinner at the Feathers whilst we were staying in Helmsley for my birthday. The brie, bacon and cranberry baguette was delightful and you also get chips with it with I did not realise. Its a lovely pub just to drink in too.

Very tasty food. Had the soup and a baguette. Chips with the sandwich were not needed, but most delicious. This is an interesting pub that rambles about all over the place. Friendly pleasant staff.

We booked our wedding at the Feathers and from the second we booked until the end of the actual wedding they have been unbelievably helpful and accommodating where possible. They went out of their way to help us making our wedding day very bespoke to us. A lot of the guests that stayed commented on how friendly and proficient the... More

We stayed at The Feathers on New Years Day, it is a lovely village to go to if you just want to get away for a little bit and go on some nice walks. We stayed in a lovely deluxe room, cannot fault the room, the bed was huge and had finishing touches such as chocolate, biscuits, shampoos etc. We... More

Very welcoming bar & staff. We ordered a roast beef sandwich, a ham sandwich & chips. All very fresh. There is a lovely open fire. The pub was very busy, with a nice atmosphere. Only downside is the tv's, it would be much nicer without them, or the volume off.

Thank RebeccaCoventry
