I had the standard haddock and chips with mushy peas, my fish had slightly undercooked batter tasting doughy, my chips were fairly hard and slightly dry and my mushy peas were Luke warm. I would have appreciated more hot water for our tea for two....More

Reading the most recent low scoring reviews, we were slightly hesitant in returning at first, but glad we did. Takeaway options chosen and freshly cooked to order. Whilst somewhat pricey; in return you do receive sizeable portioned and quality tasting fish and chips (we ordered...More

Had a takeaway. Mushy peas were cold when I got back to Motorhome about 5 minutes after leaving the shop. Chips were soggy and under cooked. Fish was disappointing. Sausages were Ok. Certainly won't be using this chip shop again.

This takeaway is going down the tubes. Staff really disorganised and too busy having a laugh with each other to give decent service. And my haddock today was almost inedible. Hardly any fish to be found in the batter and it was so overcooked it...More

Words fail me! The restaurant is dirty, the loos are disgusting, the waitress has blue hair, the manager has a soiled whites shirt. The batter wasn't not cooked and the chips reheated. This place use to be the best but is now one of the...More

Had better, had worse. Fish was very greasy sadly. With it being placed on top of the chips it then made the chips greasy too. Fish cooked to order Chips which weren’t covered in grease were nice.

We visited the pm of Saturday and had fish n chips to takeaway. So absolutely tasty and well cooked. The best we’ve ever had anywhere. Brilliant. Thanks.

Call for tea once a month on average. I can see it has changed ownership and the menu has changed slightly but the food is still very good. Nice big piece of haddock in decent batter.

Visited here at lunch with my wife. It’s a shame the portion sizes don’t reflect the prices they charge. And £1.95 for a can of Coke?? Anyway, the food was nice barring the bread which was borderline stale. When the chap, who looked like he’d...More

Hello and firstly let me say I do not want to accuse people of drinking to cover poor service. Nor do I want to offend anyone, but we do get some unjust and untrue reviews and we take offence when these are posted. As you... More
