Having dined here on various occasions my wife andI could not fault the food ,quantity or service we got from our visit. The dining room was heaving and had to Wait for a table to come vacant which was no problem as we had a look round the other shops until the waitress came to find us. We had two... More

This was our second visit to this excellent café attached to an excellent farm shop. I absolutely loved the hot pork pie with mushy peas, mint gravy and a portion of chunky chips. Heaven on a plate! My partner enjoyed a cheddar cheese and red onion marmalade quiche, followed by fruit cake and Wensleydale. I had a delicious lemon meringue... More

We just had a sandwich for our lunch but it was excellent with nice fresh bread and plenty of filling. The only downside was that we went when they were having a christmas fare in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and it was very busy so had to sit downstairs with the only tables available in the draft from... Enjoyed a Sunday Roast which was delicious - especially the beef. My husband had the gammon which was also lovely. We bought their homemade pork & tomato sausages from the butchery - can highly recommend and they're very reasonable! The owner was very welcoming and was happy to show us his new biomass boiler. Will definitely visit again soon.

Discovered this on route to see a friend who end up joining us for Sunday lunch here. The shop was stocked with loads of great gifts and farm shop had loads of local produce with so much attention to detail. The tea room had a lovely feel, food looked and tasted like the produce they were selling down stairs. Sunday... More

Visited here for the first time and had Sunday Roast in the tearoom upstairs. We all had the roast beef which was delicious and tender. They serve children's portions which was perfect for our children. Plenty of veg and homemade Yorkshire puddings were huge! Service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. After our meal we bought... More

Visited the farm shop with relatives this past week; high quality of produce within the farm shop however the tearoom was overpriced. Three cakes and tea for three came to a total of £15; we also found the owner to be very pushy, especially when the staff in the cafe were so unwelcoming. Would not visit again.

Such small plate of food ! One slice of beef, 2 small roast potato's, not enough veg to go around. Still hungry, and £10.75 ! We will not be going again. It used to be such a good meal and pleasant place to visit.
