Sad irony is this was the hospitality industry and that's what this place lacked. If I owned a business located in the country I would endeavour to make a big party feel welcome. It wasn't something you said it's what you didn't say that matters....More

Have stopped here a few times after a 5 mile walk and have always been made welcome dogs are treated well with plenty of fresh water for them with biscuit if allowed. Food is good especially after a long walk.

We visited this pub on our walk from leyburn. Food was great. I had the homemade quiche and my husband has the burger. Great food, big portions and good beer. Would definitely recommend.
