What a find, a jewel in the crown of Restaurants. Not your ordinary pub grub, The Queens Head is the next step up without paying through the nose for it. Attentive staff without going over the top, certainly well worth the visit.

Utterly fantastic!! After the first visit on a weeks holiday we went back for a second time before leaving for home. Fabulous food and definitely don't skimp on portion size and quality of food. Prompt service from very friendly staff who also gave us recommendations...More

Another lovely meal always is... plenty to choose from & plenty to eat. Welcoming and relaxing. Food is of a good standard and the service is personal . Well done again .

Recommended this pub by the owner of the Friar's Head in nearby Akebar which was under renovation at the time. That was my good fortune. The landlady of the Queens Head was absolutely delightful and made us feel very welcomed. The menu was very tempting...More

Cracking little pub with great restaurant. Top quality service and very friendly. Cosy rooms and very nice for a meal and a few drinks. Had a very good meal.

great food staff friendly had to wait over an hour after our booking time which was a disappointment they were busy but we were not kept informed or given an apology
