If you ever lie awake and imagine what a true old Scottish pub would look like, this is it. The stuffed animals on the walls, the old low beam ceilings, the wooden benches and chairs. This place looks and feels old because it is (1400s)....More

Old pub with lots of character. Two bars with plenty of things to look at as you enjoy libations. Stuffed birds and other animals adorn the hallways and rooms. A nice selection of whisky and beer as well as pub food and snacks.

We had really good food here, really tasty. The service was initially a little slow when ordering but the meals came pretty quickly. Quirky place and nice to meet lots of friendly travellers. Table layout lends itself to chatting to people beside you.

Food was OK, nothing spectacular or really that unique. Service was adequate. I would not necessarily recommend the place, but there are few other options in the immediate area if you are walking the West Highland Way.More

What a very cool place! Great food, great ambiance! Ask someone to tell you the story about the room that is haunted by the little girl. My kids thought it was fascinating too! What a great stop on our road trip.

The Drovers had already been recommended to me even before I left Australia for my Scotland trip, and it was well worth the visit. Food was reasonably priced and tasty and the selection of beers was good, but really, you have to visit just to...More

The reviews said this place was quirky and it definitely was. On arriving you could see the pub had character and was in need of tender loving care. The receptionist was overwhelmed but when she eventually got to us efficient. Our bags were out in...More
