Quaint restaurant in old house. All food made in house. The owners are super friendly and very personable. Very yummy.

Dropped in on the recommendation of several locals - It's a small restaurant seating about 20 but with a few outdoor tables. Friendly servers and the food, I was blown away by the food - not cheap but definitely worth every penny!

Stop even if you are not Hungary. Great Pastries. We had the Chicken breast Sandwich. Awesome Tender chicken. Side salad had a remarkable salad dressing. The Match tea was perfect too. I think this is the first 5 star rating I have given.

This place comes highly recommended by the locals so I decided to stop here for breakfast. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of their food. My gut is sensitive and eating out is at times a gamble for me. I had their breakfast quiche and digested it extremely well. It also tasted really good. Loved their choice of... More

This restaurant offers fastidiously prepared food in a warm and friendly environment. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the avalanche breakfast. Delicious homemade sausage, local eggs cooked to perfection, and you simply couldn't duplicate the potato hash (local baby potatoes lightly fried and sprinkled with finely sliced green onion). The lattes are indeed a work of art. Service beyond reproach.... More

My 80 plus year old Mum and I dropped in for breakfast on a day trip from Kaslo to visit old family haunts in the Slocan Valley. It's an order at the counter, they bring the food out kind of place, with lots of local art on the walls, very casual and apparently very popular. They were very kind to... More

Needed a latte to keep the legs going. Didn't realize we'd get a work of visual art I our coffee and culinary excellence in our lunch. Had the Beatrice wrap. Vegetarian is not usually my style. Thought I'd try and man was I impressed. The home made sesame dressing is incredible. Apparently local tarts are the best tarts too. Had... More

We were staying in Silverton so decided to try this place for lunch and had the warps - they were delicious, fresh and abundant. In fact, we took some home with us! A great place for lunch.

Just descended of of #Valhalla to find this wonderful little coffee shop just off the highway in Silverton. So glad I stopped. Even more pleased I tried their tarts. The Himalayan pink salt and caramel is glorious. Stop in and try it for yourself. Glad to see #kickinghorse coffee on tap as well.

We were headed through on my birthday, back from a trip to the hot springs in Nakusp. This place was very busy & seemed to be the place to go on a Sunday morning. Although it was very busy (absolutely packed), the food was quick & delicious. I got a latte that came in a great artisan mug with amazing... More
