From the outside it is a small cottage but inside is a fabulous restaurant serving excellent food and with a comprehensive wine list. There were 10 of us - we all enjoyed our meals.

We enjoyed a lovely meal. The chicken and the lamb were one of the best meals we had enjoyed for a long time. Friendly service. Great wine list with lots of local wines.

We were visiting the Granite Belt with our Brisbane based relatives to sample the wonderful scenery and wineries and booked a table a few hours in advance. The restaurant is in an atmospheric wooden former church and served us from 6pm. Chef Steve Earl - no not THE Steve Earle - uses local ingredients in supporting local producers so everything... Not a huge menu but this means its not off the freezer truck. Were there with friends had a long lunch. Did not buy many after lunch drniks but. They left the aircon on. And gave us water over an hour after closing. By the way did I mention the food GREAT JUST GO THERE.

Three of us camped in the Giraween National park in midwinter, and treated ourselves to dinner at the Vineyard cafe, about 20 mins drive away. Can't remember enjoying a meal so much for a long time. Delicious food (and good choices for our gluten-free member), friendly service in a warm, wood-panelled dining room. Went back to campground very contented and... More

We came here as part of a wine tour for lunch which we'd preordered. The food was lovely and service very friendly. I would have liked more local wines to choose from on the wine menu but otherwise good

We stayed at the Vineyard Cottages for a recent weekend away. Its a lovely place in the fresh food mecca of the Granite Belt - so expectations were high. Well the food (cooked by Chef Steve) and the service (provided by Penny & John) absolutely exceeded all our expectations. A warm welcoming atmosphere, and advice to match a wine to... More

What a pleasant evening. The restaurant was warm, almost full and the ambiance was excellent. We were served by both the owners, in an politely efficient way, offering information regarding the meals, and the husband offered knowledgable guidance regarding choice of wine. All meals of very high quality and cooked to a very high standard. We will return.

We stayed at the cottages & had dinner here one night - the main meals were delicious but our desserts were amazing - the homemade salted caramel ice cream was divine! The service was spot-on. The food and drinks very reasonably priced for wonderful food using local produce & mostly local wine (which John provided great recommendations on at dinner... More

Exquisite food. Great service. Very reasonably priced. We were greeted by a lovely lady whose name I didn't catch and she was kind enough to cater to our every need. Highly recommended
