We chose this restaurant as a stage on the way from Ghent to Bruges. The restaurant is located in a very picturesque place among the fields, in an old stable building.
Very atmospheric place with traditional Romanian interior and color. We recommend grilled meat lovers. Good value for money.

Unfortunately, our dinner was a bit disappointing - although we do believe that the restaurant has potential and still needs to 'mature'. We took the platter with different types of meat. This is standard for 4 people, we asked if it was possible to expand this to 5 people and this was no problem. If only we hadn't done this! We got the platter for 4 people and paid for 5 (20 euros extra). There was no point in explaining, they didn't understand us and we didn't want to ruin my brother's birthday. It was a beautiful summer evening in early October, but in the evening it cooled down enormously, so our food was served very cold (meat was grilled outside). The bean stew tasted very good and the setting outside with the benches was really nicely done.
So it wasn't a great evening, but we won't let ourselves be disappointed, we might come back one day, in the hope that communication will then be better.
