Popped into Robinson (De Panne) for a quick meal en route to France. Wish we never bothered. The house wine was drinkable and the selection of beers was affordable. It does have a certain 'character', for want of a better word, and was full of local people. But, if truth be told, that's where the good news starts and ends.... More

Yes it was after 8.00 p.m. it is the winter season and maybe there was football on the TV. Then switch the lightship and go home. The bar man decided he was closed and didn't need our custom. Your choice mate, hope your customers have a higher opinion of your establishment.

Close to the seafront, we often stop by here when we visit De Panne. Great choice of beers, lovely coffee and a good range of snacks and meals. Nice brasserie/bistro decor and good service. For those who smoke, there is also a separate from the main area, inside seating area.

Have eaten at this restuarant quite a few times now. It has a heated outside (inside ) area for smokers . The food has always been consistently good as has the service.

One of the few places open in early March but nevertheless a good Brasserie Lunch, excellent House wine and super, friendly service. We went back for pre dinner drinks as ( apart from being open) the beer was good!

Visiting De panne in the middle of winter probably night the brightest idea but it is a lovely town. We were hungry and found Robinson open which was great, it was warm and there were already a few people enjoying a tipple or two. We settled on Moules and frites and a Belgian delight which we all enjoyed, we might... More

Fabulous restaurant on the Main Street in de panne, can't recommend highly enough the lasagne, although I personally wouldn't call it a lasagne, but that doesn't mean it was bad....rather the opposite, it was fantastic, made with pork mince with the most wonderful surprise on top. Won't say what the surprise is for fear of spoiling it, but rest assured,... More

One of only a few bars open all day "out of season". Efficient staff, brassiere style menu and frequented by locals for drinks and food, interesting choice of Belgium beers + 6 on draught.

Robinson was very conveniently located near our hotel and is within easy reach of both the Kusttram and the seafront. On the positive side, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with dark wood and leather seating. The service is good and friendly and the servers made a good effort to look after us. However the food could be better. The... More
