In Meursault is known and recommended. Dinner was good but not cheap. Locals and winemakers use this place for their costumers. Wine list is well furnished.

A quiet place in a quiet village. Friendly service from the waitress who doubles as the hotel receptionist (January is very slow in Burgundy...) Locals and winemakers flock this favorite place. The various menus are well conceived and affordable. Nice wine list with half-bottle selections.

I was traveling alone and was staying in Beaune for a few days. I followed a suggestion to visit Meursault and to take the back roads in Burgundy. I found this place while walking around (not a big town) and had one of their pre-fixe lunch menus for 32 euros which included a pumpkin soup, braised lamb shoulder, local cheese,... More

We were in Meursault for only one evening and ate at Le Chevreuil at the recommendation of our hotel manager. We sat on a large patio outside the back of the Le Chevreuil and enjoyed a very good French meal. I have spent a lot of time in France so I may be harder to please, but I found the... More

And such a rating means a lot to us. Vegetarians will not fare well here---it features traditional Burgundian dishes and the name means 'The Deer'. The young manager-owner is the daughter of a major local wine-producer and often his wines are available, sometimes by the glass. The setting is quirky in a fun way. Some 30-odd renditions of a deer... More

We had a wonderful lunch at this local restaurant with great service from smiling and informed staff. The food was exceptionally good with specialities like terrine chaude de mère Daugier and millefeuille aux pain d'épices. We are definitely looking forward to going back when in the area. The pricing is also very correct.

Good lunchspot in the picturesque village of Meursault. The restaurant boasts a big terrace in the back, which is very pleasant on warm summer days such as today. As usual, several menus are available. We had the menu du marche, which at 22 eur was a great bargain. The entree was a light salad with ham and mushrooms, followed by... More

An extensive menu but by no means all options expensive. An extraordinary wine list with some very expensive options, but still good at the less expensive end. Busy. Booking essential.

this is a well maintained restaurant with friendly staff and efficient service. The lunch menus are reasonably priced and the place is spic and span. The food is fine. Frankly you can go further and pay more and fare worse as we did at the Hotel Montrachet. this is ok for what it is and there was a French family... More

Lovely village, lovely house, lovely dining room, lovely weather, so dinner outside on terrace. Very pleasant, friendly service. Food so so. I had a menu de saison, a good bean emulsion, unfortunately served with a rather disgusting to my taste beignet filled with very greasy pork, followed by a rather good duck in a ginger sauce, that would have been...
