After walking around Dorgali we realised it was difficult to find a good restaurant that was open in early March. Then we discovered Colibri. Wonderful, simple, tasty dishes with gorgeous local wine. The service was excellent.

We had a wonderful typical dinner, great quality and kindly owner Alberto who had good care of our little daughter. From the farmers cheese to the main dish "Capra in umido" finishing with a superior homemade desserts. We will return asap!

Simple no frills restaurant, helpful service and good food. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night.

This was the first restaurant we tried on our trip in Sardinia, and we thought the food was ok, but a bit average, slightly lacking flavour. My partner had ravioli, they were the most flavoursome, I had mushrooms which were a main course and we had a side dish of aubergines. Both the mushrooms and aubergines were a bit bland.... More

This is the place to go for genuine no-frills Sardinian fare at very reasonable prices. The menu is limited but that's to Colibri's credit as they offer a genuinely traditional menu. This isn't a place for vegetarians though and the flavours are strong so be warned. The place lacks the warmth and charm of an old trattoria but the staff... More

We came for dinner and found wonderful local food for reasonable prices. We ate typical Sardinian homemade pasta and wild boar with juniper and rosemary spices. Fresh ricotta cheese for dessert was delicious. The house wine was local cannonau, inexpensive, and very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and as an added bonus, the restaurant opened for dinner at... More

Very nice restaurant, with helpful staff. Homemade pasta (which is difficult to find in Sardinia, as almost all restaurants use supermarket semi-finished products, including tomato sauce). You should try Vino de la Casa and homemade tiramisu, it’s small but delicious. For lunch you have to come early, because it’s difficult to find free table after 14.00.

Very nice food and very nice staff. Not many restaurants were opened and my boyfriend and I went there as we were so hungry... This restaurant was a great surprise, it was perharps our best meal in Sardinia.

Amazing food, excellent service and extremely friendly staff. We stayed in a near by b&b(Passagio a bargia I think, something similar anyway) which recommended it to us, and on hearing that, the waiter offered us both a drink of Mirto and gave us great advice on the local area. A great find, and an unforgettable meal.

My Fiancee and I took a walk off the tourist trail to find something quiet and found ourself this gem. It is a walk away from the tourist trail so the food is delicious and very high quality but about half the price of other meals we had near the centre on Rome. three course, two of us drinking and...
