Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is an institution. Nestled in a forest past many apple orchards, you'll find tables spaced out under trees and fairy lights. I emailed ahead of time for a table and to check whether they would be able to accommodate me as a coeliac....They were very kind in their response and when we arrived, came out to meet us in person and go through how they marinade the meat and grill it in a way that is totally gluten free and avoiding cross contamination. I could also safely eat the fries, roasted potatoes, salad and side sauces. It was a fantastic "last night of holiday" feast. Man alive, everything was delicious. Crispy on the outside but succulent on the inside. The ribs didn't need to be smothered in a sauce - they were subtle and sweet as they were! The kids faces when the platter arrived... Delicious. Book a table in advance!More

During one of our hiking trips passed this restaurant and stepped in for a drink. went back after for lunch a few days later and ordered spare-ribs which were very good. If we're in the neigbourhood we will certainly go back

A location warm and welcoming, a magical surprise near a forest and close to the typical apple orchards: quality food and great service!

A little out of the way if travelling by car but apparently in the middle of hiking/trekking trails. We ordered pork knuckle and grilled ribs- the first one a must-have, the latter quite ok but could use a little more seasoning (marinating would do wonders...here). Prices are great- approx 10 euros for a huge portion of meat. Would definitely recommend.More

one of the few places in the valley, where even if you don't call to book they will help you find a place (also sharing a table) quit fast. from time to time a pack of bikers are stopping by, colonising most of the tables,...but still some place you will have. food is excellent, location is one of the best, especially during summer, with the tables outside and the fresh air coming from the forest. food is just excellent, local specialities + grill. now, really try to taste most of the things, as all it is really excellent. the service is really fast, professional and very friendly.More

We arrived at laces after several hours of severe traffic slightly ehausted. A friend of mine gave me the tip to book a table outside. Food was supposed to be classic Grill-Food. And yes it was! Menu consists basically of some local sausage and (great)...cheese plater and grillfood. Grill is an open pit with spare ribs, chicken, pigs trotters/knuckels (Schweinshaxn) etc on it. They might have a small menu, but they truly know what they are doing with the grill. Service was pretty fast as well, so there is plenty of supply from the local beer, Först Bräu... Very pleasant evening! When back in Latsch, we will definitely visit this place again.More

We ate today for lunch in this so famous restaurant.... The location is very nice but about the food: 1- the pork is not grilled (as written on the menu) and completely dried; 2- the bread was hard and dried (we paid for a few...slices of bread €3,60 absolutely scandalous; 3- we paid for tap water (usually of course free) €1!!!!; 4- the red table wine €5,20 but it was acid!!!! 5- the gulash soup was not the real goulash soup with a strong taste of artificial stock cube!!! We never return again!More

One can only recomend the Schwein haxe at Bierkeller. It is suplime and goes well with a large Forst-beer. The restaurant is very cozy and in a warm evening U can sit outsite under the glittering lights. Something one must try. Very tyrolean.
