My wife and I stayed here in the final week of the summer season. It was a great place to base oneself in Geiranger and a good place to do a bit of walking from, as we did. The fjord view from our room was magnificent and we thought the food was pretty good too. The room was modern and... More

We booked the hotel after seeing the TripAdvisor scores, and in short it was plain to see why it gets such fantastic ratings. Comfortable beds, pleasant staff, and amazing dinner.

We visited this hotel although we weren't staying there as guests.we were hoping for the buffet evening meal but it wasn't on that night (perhaps because we went at the end of the season, not sure). Anyway we chose from the normal menu and were not disappointed. The crayfish and bread starter was delicious. We both had the steak, which... More

We stayed for two nights there and booked a room with fjord views(this was more expensive). It was stunning and definitely worth it! Location of the hotel was nice because it wasn't located in the middle of tourists. Staff was polite and helpful and parking was easy. Dinner was delicious but only note I find was with breakfast; all the... More

Fantastic view - nice and friendly service - good food. I would definitely stop for a night as in my opinion is the most charming place in Geiranger.

The view alone is more than enough reason to choose this hotel. First time we've stayed to the minute of check-out. Watching the changing moods of the fjord as the day progresses is stamped in the memory. Add to this, comfortable and clean rooms with balconies; smart decor; friendly staff; and a reasonable buffet and breakfast. Needs something for vegetarians.... More

When travelling in isolated places in Norway the standard isn't the same as major cities. This hotel is of good standard. Large rooms with all the facilities you need. The breakfast and buffet dinners have food to suit every taste. The view from the dining room is worth the experience to enjoy your meal. We were with a insight tour... More

Very good food and friendly staff. An enjoyable experience! The buffet was quite rich, with lots of food to choose from. Also the deserts were very tasty.

We read fab reviews in advance but we were sadly very disappointed. Over-cooked dried out beef, breaded chicken, seafood pie. (Pork was tasty). Boiled potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower & French fries. No vegetarian options. Lovely view. Bear in mind there are very few places to eat in Geiranger. Glass of house red wine 90 NOK.
