We walked from the town to the Castle and had lunch here on the way back. Wow. Great lamb, excellent steak and escalope. Majorcan bread and alioli to start with - some decent (not house) wine to start with. Busy, even in these hard times....More

As mentioned before by other reviewers, go early to be able to get up the one car width, two-way pit holed road, without having too many hairy moments reversing into any cliff edge layby. Large helpings of mass produced food, but quite tasty food, tho...More

The trip there is best in a 4x4. Hairpin bends and unmade roads abound on the single track road. Make sure you can reverse and remember where the passing places are or could be! Its located en route to castell d'Alaró. Take it steady and...More

This is an amazing farm restaurant above Alaro. The lamb is slow cooked in a way that has been handed down through the generations and melts in your mouth. The meal is served on shared wooden tables but don't let that put you off, you...More

What a beautiful meal. We planned to only order appetizers as we were not very hungry after hiking up to the castle. Luckily, we were seated next to a lovely couple from Germany who said it was the best in Mallorca. Lucky us. Extremely tender,...More

The road is gravel en stones, not likely to cause much damage to the car but a very narrow road. Walking up is also a possibility.
