This is a very basic cafe that underwhelms in every aspect apart from its location. Perched high above the harbour and receiving the late evening sunshine after much of the waterfront is in shadow, it is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks. The view is amazing - and the beer cold. There is more beside and they also run to... More

Looking for somewhere to rest and have lunch we came across this quaint little cafe. Great views and lovely to get out of the burning sun. The service was very slow, took over 50 minutes for food to arrive. Food was nice but nothing special.

You come here for the view. Take a seat on the terrace and look out over where the land joins the sea with the old city's historic walls and churches dominating the vista. They don't have any really great local or international food, but it will fill you up. You're limited to choices like white or brown bread rolls stuffed... More

Very good place for spending an evening with nice views on Maó harbour. Food is cheap and excellent. Service is easy and friendly.

We have opted for this place for two main reasons: 1) it has a good view, 2) we were starving and couldn't be bothered to look for something else. Service was one of the slowest I have ever experienced and not too friendly either. Food was ok, nothing special, but definitely edible.

We stopped here for some shade and a drink. The picture on this site is the level above, we visited the bar below. Decided to stay for lunch and chose a selection of tapas - all excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unhurried pace but neither are you pestered to leave! Would definitely stop by again.

Ate and drank here twice whilst recently visiting the island. Enjoyed several tapas dishes - patatas bravisimas(?) with spicy dip and the bacon, local cheese and aubergine baguette were a particular highlight. My partner and I enjoyed reasonably priced cava/chilled Mahou lager too. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to try some reasonably priced authentic local cuisine, surrounded by great... More

I simply can't agree with the last very negative review as our experience was the complete opposite. A lovely waitress attended to us and we enjoyed our tapas. I took the recommendation of one of the specials which was an oven baked globe artichoke - absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices and lovely views over the harbour although it can be a... More

Went there around 10.45pm for an after dinner drink. The bar was nearly empty, & everyone outside seemed to have been served already. Despite this, and sitting at a table in full view of the bar staff, we were resolutely ignored for over 10 minutes until I decided to leave. Even then, my sarcastic utterings of thanks were blanked by... More
