Haven’t been here for quite a while and was a little worried as quiet, but my worries were unfounded! Still a great breakfast, fresh, just the right size and served quickly..Full English with black pudding & mug of tea all for £10! Amazing value too..will...visit again when passing!More

Called in for breakfast early Monday morning, most unwelcoming young lady appeared eventually and we were told we could sit anywhere, she wasn’t happy or smiley maybe had a bad weekend. Breakfast was ok but not very hot, tea served in a mug with loads...of milk added luckily tea bag still floating in it so could squeeze till stronger! After reading the reviews before my visit was disappointed. Wouldn’t go back.More

Really tasty food, all fresh! Reasonable pricing. Nice vibe inside the cafe since the refit and a nice sunny outside seating area. Will be back very soon! Highly recommend

A cafe as it should be. No pretentiousness, no pretence, no BS . . . . just great produce, perfectly cooked. Lots of parking.

My first visit here in years and it has changed such a lot I did not recognise the place. My first impression is that there was plenty of space between the tables and it was very clean so a very good sign. We sat down...and then went to the counter to order our food giving our table number and have to say I was most impressed at how quickly the food arrived. The staff were all very pleasant and the food was nice but have to say it was quite pricey for waht you get and there are other nearby cafes that offer better value. The thing that surprised me the most was that despite face masks having to be worn except for sitting at the table and taking the covid precautions, the waitress picked up the ketchup and brown sauce bottle from our table and passed it to the chap at the next table without it being wiped down and cleaned and this defeats the purpose of the covid precautions being taken and I found this quite bizzare...More

Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and service and cleanliness matched the high standard of the meal. Definitely will go again!

This is the first time I have visited old school since March, and my my how it's changed! It's good to see the place has used the time to refurb the space and make it much more modern. Logo now looks really cool and the...coffee has been stepped up about 10 notches. The foods still great, they're now using fresh local bread, meat and eggs which makes a bit difference. 10/10 well done old school, can't wait to see it completely finished. Next time I'll be bringing my dog too!More
