Cute place, very good service. Friendly and attentive. Food was good. Fun little place. I had beef with morels and my husband had fried fish dish. We probably would not have ordered the fish if we knew what it was---was not the best. The beef was tasty.

Have been here twice now for lunch, and both times have been excellent. The outdoor seating beneath the canopy is great fun, the service was brilliant and the food is amazing. I had the bbq pork ribs, quite unusual on a fairly traditional French menu, but they really were delicious. Will definitely return again!

Been here many times over the years, Pascal is a great host, setting is lovely. Food is excellent, had moules marineres today, I have never had better and what a portion! Pascal is a 'biker' and goes off every Wednesday for a ride in the 'Maures'. The roads to la Garde Freinet are amazing, from Le Luc, Plan de la... More

When in the village we always head to the Carnotzet and during the summer months their regular Thursday music nights with excellent blues/jazz bands are great but if you want a table make sure you book.

Stopped off here for lunch on our way from Nice to St Tropez. Love this little town. This restaurant was a perfect choice for us, 2 adults, 3 big teenage sons. Plenty of fresh bread, lots of choice, attentive and friendly service and delicious food. Loos were immaculate too. Faultless.

We have been to this bar/restaurant a number of times. Pascal and Cathy are consistently great hosts and from the moment you arrive you can't help but relax in the inclusive friendly atmosphere. The french cuisine is consistently delicous and great value - let yourself be surprised by the 'plat du jour' which will never disappoint. If you want the... More

Cracking place for a cold beer or vin rouge and bit of relaxing ! Friendly owners, very traditional, cosy and comfortable. Can't fault it really. Just to note though, don't ask for a hot chocolate late at night, they don't serve them! Apart from that I'd recommend to all.

There are four bars to choose from in the village (Fraxinois being one end of the spectrum), Le Canotzet is the other end. Pascal and (I assume) his wife run a very friendly bar, that locals are always happy to drink and eat in - which I normally take as a good sign. The Affligem on tap is one of... More
