Great traditional food popular with locals and tourists alike. The cheese pie was very different and very delicious

You might have to wait a bit to get a place to sit here, but it is worth while. They serve very good food. You should be very hungry if you plan to eat starter, salad and main dish. Two people should have enough having their starters and sharing the salad and main dish. Then you might want to order... More

When we arrived the restaurant was buzzing and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The meal was delicious with my wife enjoying a plate of small fish and meatballs for myself. We were disappointed not to get a complimentary glass of raki at the end whereas others did. Suspect the place was so busy that it was overlooked.... More

The house wine was not very nice. The food was nice. A noisy group were sat next us even though the restaurant was not busy. A good Greek restaurant.

We ended up eating here twice, although the second time wasn't intended when we set off. Delicious food, huge portions and wonderful flavours. Very good value for money. Both nights were busy. Absolutely no qualms in giving a high recommendation. My only small gripe was that on the first occasion we were given a small flask of delicious Raki with... More

Upon recommendation of my hotel Blue Horizon I had an excellent lunch here with red peppers/garlic and fried vegetables as a starter and rabbit stew (coniglio stifado) afterwards. Very good home made cooking in a nice setting

Situated in the old part of town, this popular tavern produced for me the best spaghetti carbonara that I have ever had

My husband really liked his fish saying it was the best thing he ate during our trip. I had some sort of lamb with vegetables in a pot, taste ok, but filled with sharp bone bits. The childrens pasta was really blend and tasteless, only cream with a couple bits of ham. Service was good and the atmosphere nice. The... More

Everything fresh and in abundance! We over ordered as the Cretans are very generous with their portions! Chicken so tender you could cut it with the side of your fork! Olives, Fresh Veggies and Vegetable dishes! Thats just to start!

Aristea's was recommended to us by a local and didn't disappoint. Classic Greek Mediterranean cuisine. Busy but friendly and efficient staff.
