We had a lovely, memorable evening in this charming family run restaurant overlooking the bay. Our friendly waiter Antonino, one of the sons, kindly picked us up from the hotel. Amazing food with fresh vegetables, olive oil, wine and limoncello produced from their kitchen gardens. Tomatoes picked, cooked and bottled that morning. The sea bream was absolutely delicious and we were given complimentary appetisers. The owner chef is a master pasta maker. The family speak excellent English and are exceptionally warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We loved the whole experience and recommend it very highly. Grazie mille and congratulations to Tony on his upcoming wedding!

This was not our first visit to this restaurant so we already had high expectations but my goodness it did not disappoint! We were picked up from our hotel and we had the most amazing meal. Terrific value for money, great service, great atmosphere, great location, most importantly fantastic food. The seafood ravioli is to die for. Even the simple green side salad which seemingly had very few ingredients tasted amazing. Our mains were steak for me fillet of beef wrapped in lemon leaves for my hubby 👌 Please try you will love it

It is not my first time here .. and knowing what the food was like - of course we returned. My son and I had denied ourselves food for the day because we knew what was coming and we went for it. We had - Bruschetta with deep fried zucchini flowers. Then we had Carpaccio. I had the beef, my son had the tuna and swordfish. We moved on to the ravioli stuffed with crab and shrimp - served with shell food from the sea. After that we had the beef fillet - wrapped in leaves (lemon I think). OMG The Chef nailed that to perfection. We ended with a chocolate ice cream in pastry with truffle (for my son) and I took the lemon cake option - which I ate. We also drank the local wine and enjoyed the home made olive oil. It is 'Out of this world' from a food perspective - added to which - the staff are amazing. It's a 'no brainer'..... crawl there on your knees if you must - but just do it. Very convenient for Sant'Agata - and personally I'd negotiate taxi rates from Sorrento - and actually the staff will help anyway with any plans you have and try to accommodate and assist where possible. The approach to the restaurant is magnificent - as are the views. The ambience is amazing and fantastic - if you wish to submerge yourself in Sothern Italian culinary delights at there finest - get yourself there. You may not choose my particular dish choices but there's plenty on offer. Additionally - very reasonable with charges. You could literally just walk in - ignore the menu and just say 'Bring me food' - and it would be fantastic. It's basically what we did after speaking to the owner.

I stayed in the villa next door to Il Fienele with 10 friends in June and they could not have been nicer! Giacomo is the best host and works so hard to please his customers. We were looking for some simple catered pizza and sides on our first night and instead of suggesting somewhere else, the chef made us beautiful dishes! Many of us passed by and had coffee there at various points. And on our last night we had an exquisite meal at such a reasonable price compared to other restaurants in the area. He even dropped us in a complimentary bottle of limoncello when our sing song was probably annoying his restaurant customers! If I am ever lucky to be back, I wouldn’t hesitate in visiting Giacomo and Il Fienele again.

Easy booking by phone. Spectacular setting , excellent table. Extensive menu of locally sourced food, fish and seafood selection is excellent. Comprehensive wine list but the house red and a white are very quaffable. Attentive service from the brothers. Very good value for money.

This most amazing restaurant. Tucked away in the little village of Torca, it is absolutely superb. The food is top notch. I recommend the gnocchi with seafood sauce, it’s out of this world. A family run business, this is a restaurant that wants you to have a fabulous time and they deliver just that. One note: We booked on line but the reservation didn’t go through. If you don’t receive an acknowledgment email give them a call.

We came across the restaurant on the first night of our 1 week holiday to the region and it was the best food experience we had all week. Such friendly hosts, the two brothers and then we met the Dad, what a character. We had their red house wine which they produce themselves and it was delicious. Enjoyed it so much we took a bottle home with us! Such a great atmosphere and the food was exceptional. Love the family history of how the restaurant came about, very authentic. It was such a great evening. We visited again for lunch and again the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommended.
