This is a tiny restaurant and I recommend you ring first. The journey into the middle of the Tuscan countryside is really worth it as the food is excellent. The husband collects fresh truffles and porcini when in season and the dishes are to die for. You will be made very welcome and there is a good wine list. The... More

Lovely little restaurant in a private home. Looks like a family business. Since we're not big on pasta dishes the choices were very limited.

This was our first meal in Italy after a long travel day from Chicago to Rome, then a 3 hour drive into Montespertoli. We arrived early, around 5:30, as we were very hungry. Not speaking much Italian, I asked when they opened for dinner. She responded in Italian - seeing I was a bit confused, typed in 7:30 on her... More

All of the great reviews are correct! My husband, son, and I went to dinner here and loved it so much we returned for lunch the next day before we left the area. The truffle dishes are fantastic! If you want to experience a truly family-run trattoria that is off the beaten path, then this is definitely where you should... More

Off the beaten path, but completely worth it. When you get to Via Trecento, there is a small wooden sign that tells you the restaurant is 2 km down the road. Keep following the road, don't turn back and think you have gone too far, you will hit a fork in the road, and there the restaurant will be. We... More

We went for dinner following the recommendation of our lodging hostess. This is a very small family run Trattoria with a mama cooking in the kitchen and her daughters tending the tables. Food was simple and amazing - great pasta, and great meat, with amazing touches of truffle and porcini mushrooms. The overall atmosphere of eating out of a small,... More

If you've been indifferent to or uninitiated about truffles, here's where to come. We had a magical lunch today, very simple and inexpensive, and the secret was the warmest of warm welcomes from the daughter of the house and the abundance of delicious truffles with every dish. Mum does the cooking beautifully and daughter speaks enough English to give us... More

A little bit tricky to get to but really worth it. We had lunch here on the recommendation of the proprietor at Licchio in Montespertoli and we were not disappointed! Mama is alone in the kitchen, barely hidden behind a curtain, turning out the most delicious Cucina Toscana and daughter is serving tables. Good wine list, fantastic pasta, delicious meat... More
