This was a fine experience. The meal that I had was the local pasta, somewhat like a fat spaghetti with delicious boar ragu. Others had delicious cacio e pepe and carbonara. I tasted samples.

Simple, economical, friendly, convivial. Rather bright inside, but this is more of an outside, summer venue.

Not just standard pastas, but a bit better. Cute location, good service, proper preparation, excellent flavors. You will not go wrong!

This is a local spot where you will find the best local flavors, atmosphere and friendly service. The food is delicious. The cost is reasonable and the portions are large. Make sure to try the desserts.

Strong menu, locally sourced. Wines were good values, service friendly and efficient. We ate twice and enjoyed it greatly

We arrived on a busy fall evening without a reservation. The four of us were seated outside as requested and felt welcomed to stay and enjoy our wine and dinner, as the place filled quickly with locals and tourists alike. It was a memorable meal outside I enjoyed the Tuscan soup and a salad, not overpriced or fussy. We were... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by our friend, Alessandro, the Tuscan chef. When a chef recommends a restaurant you know it will be good. We were able to stop by the restaurant 10 minutes before it opened and make a reservation. If we had waited until later and walked in without a reservation, we would not have gotten a... More

Recommended to us and very popular local lunch spot. This small restaurant is located at one end of the main tourist shopping street in Pienza. It has a triangular outside terrace which is covered and quite a few tables also inside. The food is very good, straightforward stuff - certainly not fine dining but very nicely cooked. Some of the... More

We go out of our way to make sure that thru Italy, we spend at least 1 night in Pienza, but not a Tuesday, They're closed. This is by far the best family run, low key, authentic country style trattoria. Get the bruschetta, the green salad, the duck, the home made ice cream & a bottle of wine. About 65... More

Most restaurants serve good Italian food but we found these two had good menus and courteous and helpful waiters
