We ate in the restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent we all swapped around a bit so got to taste lots of things. All without fail tasty and well cooked. Lacks a bit of intimacy.

Had a table of 10 for family get together, we all enjoyed the meal & had good service in the restaurant/conservatory area. Downside, bar area is dated & dark & toilets are not very clean. Overall good value for money!

this place cheap and cheerful, great staff, great beer and fantastic river view, will need a refurb as feels outdated

Just come back from a stay at The Oyster Fleet hotel. Lovely hotel, friendly staff and nice big spacious room. You get your money's worth. Pleasant drive from Southend down to Canvey and was very impressed with the price of the hotel would definitely return.

The location of this restaurant afforded a pleasant view of what is essentially a swamp, but at sunset , it looked good. It stands at the end of a one-way system on canvey Island; it is an imposing building which is very attractive from the outside. I attended a private function in the spacious upstairs room with private bar attached.... More

Arrived on the Friday evening as we were attending an event on Saturday. Mandy on reception was very warm and welcoming. The room was a nice size and very clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice. All the staff in the restaurant were great. Breakfast in the morning was also very reasonable - cooked breakfast... More

Didn't go to the restuarant so cant comment on that but instead had food from the bar and went outside. Unfortunately the food was cold and pretty bland, the service was pretty poor and the prices were not good. I certainly wouldn't recomend this place nor go back unless for someone else.

We stayed here for two nights, booked and paid for. The room was quite large, a large lumpy bed , most uncomfortable. The tv is a postage stamp size in the top corner about 3 m away, i would challenge anyone with good eyes to be able to read the captions. The walls must be vary thin as i could... More

Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms functional and clean but not comfortable. Not pleasant having a bath looking at unboxed pipework and hole in the bathroom door. Priced accordingly
