We’ve been here a few times and it has always been great. This sunday was exceptional. Great food and service and one of the best roast we’ve had in a long time.

The place was very busy upon arrival at 15.30 which was a good sign. Pricing is very reasonable for a 2 or 3 course lunch. Starter for me was a scotch egg - really nicely cooked egg but strangely very cool yolk. It tasted great...More

I can strongly recommend the Sunday lunch at the Pheasant. We ordered beef and pork, both were cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes were light and crisp and the Yorkshire’s were equally good. Nicely served on a wooden board and our plates were brought to the...More

The Pheasant is a stunning Shropshire country inn, owned and restored by the community and dates back to the 18th century. We offer a menu of classic English dishes supplemented daily by tempting seasonal specials. We serve real ales from Shropshire and further afield and offer a list of wines full of interest, many available by the glass. The picturesque setting of Neenton among the Shropshire Hills and the old pub with its magnificent new Oak Room, characterful interiors and orchard garden make an idyllic place to enjoy a relaxing drink or our delicious food. Warm fires will welcome you whenever it's chilly. Our three new en-suite bedrooms and splendid breakfasts make the Pheasant a perfect base for a break in the heart of south Shropshire's glorious, yet quiet and undiscovered countryside. Or if you're just driving out to dine with us, why not make a night of it, enjoy the evening to the full and leave the drive home until tomorrow.......
