Disappointing meal. Looked like meat from the Deli counter. Table not set properly - no table cloth, table mats or side plates! Sorry, but I expect this when eating out. Especially at Christmas.

A saturday night and we thought we'd try the Culbokie Inn. The service was good but the surroundings a bit stark and Spartan. Two of us had haddock and chips and the third scampi and chips. All a bit bland and tasteless with a rather...More

Very pleasant staff in a typical rural pub. It has a small menu with a few beers and drinks but seems to be popular with locals. There is little competition nearby and will provide an adequite meal with pleasant staff in reasonable surroundings

Called here on spec for a Sunday lunch. Saw the roast beef on another table and thought it looked good. It was! The beef was cut thinly and perfectly cooked so that it melted in the mouth. The gravy was really tasty, the Yorkshire pudding...More

Visited tonight and asked for Vegan options. These were written on a piece of paper and read out by the owner but when I politely requested for it to be left with me to choose at my leisure she seemed to take offence to this....More

I visited last year after the buzz of the tourist season with my daughter and her partner. We went for the Sunday roast and it was like the cold roast beef you would buy from a supermarket. Thinly sliced, cold with a bistro gravy on...More

We were looking for somewhere to stop for an evening meal and saw this pub in the passing. When we arrived it was empty but very quickly filled up with locals - a good sign. The food was good pub grub without being exceptional but...More

it was actually me trying to get that review taken off, because after that visit we went in and got the thinest roast beef you could ever slice which was served up as Sunday Roast. In my opinion it was processed roast beef... More

You will get an idea of the menu on the Culbokie Inn website but they also always have a specials board normally with 2 soups and several mains and desserts. It's well worth a visit.

Sorry, not sure. I could see it being allowed in the bar, but best to call. They're very friendly.
