Stopped fir quick coffee and scones. Great selection and lots of different jams to have with them...not just your usual strawberry ! Was really busy place but we were served really quickly. There's a really good deli next day with lots of fresh bread etc. Brought a cheese and onion cob loaf home....has made great toast ! There's also a... More

Great helpings of different and delicious foods. Nice scenery in marquee. Always really busy no matter what time you go, but they always find you a seat. Only black mark is lack of sufficient parking spaces. Great Sunday lunch treat.

Stopped here for lunch during a recent visit to Inverness. They serve a wide range of food from soups and sandwiches to fish and chips etc. along with the most amazing looking cakes. Very popular but service was good and efficient. The sandwiches which were made to order were very filling and flavoursome (prawn marie rose and smoked salmon with... More

Couldn't believe how busy it was on a weekday out of season but I guess that is a measure of how good the food is. My wife and I had hake wrapped in Parma ham. Just excellent. Coffee was particularly good. Had to share a table but that wasn't a problem. Views out to the Cromarty Firth are stunning on... More

Lovely setting. Freshly made food. Large selection of Gin to purchase. Had fish and chips which were delicious and seemed a popular choice with other diners. The meringues are enormous!

Yes, this is a convenient stop on the road North to Wick and Thurso, yet something needs to be done about the long queue's for a coffee......especially on a Sunday. This is my first visit, yet who wants to wait 20mins just for a coffee? I am sure there is adequate space for a separate Tea & Coffee shop............

Visited on Sunday 26th February 2017 with my partner, our baby, and a friend: we had some lovely food - soup, quiche, teas and coffees, and cake - and the waitress brought our orders in good time and as we asked. The vanilla cheesecake was DIVINE, as was the quiche... Lovely atmosphere and food. Well done!

I've stopped here a few times now on my way out of Inverness. Good signposting, large car-park - always good when you're on a long journey. Beautifully positioned with views over the water; nice and warm; friendly; I don't like my coffee too strong, so was pleased to be asked how strong I would like it. Cakes are good: large... More

Lunch with my father & daughter was excellent, could not fault the food & it was so busy we had to queue but well worth it. Positioned overlooking the water in a very nice old fashioned building it's certainly a real old fashioned type of restaurant with lots of good quality food. The portions are more than generous & would... More
