Went for the steak night and was not disappointed, have not been here for a while even though we live in the next village. The steak was superb as were the chips, best we've tasted for ages, we had camembert with onion chutney and bread...More

Lunched rather than Dinner at The Old Bear as fully booked evenings for the duration of holiday in the area. Everyone friendly and helpful and we had good quality food in a relaxing atmosphere. Would return for evening Dinner in the restaurant.

The food here is well presented and cooked. A lovely old pub with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Do book as it can get busy due to its excellent local reputation. There is plenty of parking.

We held my mother wake at the Old Bear and it was fantastic. Really good food, so many positive comments and my mother would have been proud. Thanks Jo and Alistair. We will be back for a meal soon.

Nice bar supper. Could have done with more selection of bar food on menu. Nice environment. Friendly welcoming staff. Reasonably priced.

Hi there, we serve Sunday lunch from 12.00 to 14.30. We have a carvery on Sundays, and it is very popular, so early booking is recommended. Please give us a call on 01225 782487 to book a table. Many thanks for your enquiry.
