Visited on a cold winter night, we were seated in front of an open fire, the interior decor is tasteful, the background music was soothing, the food was first class and the service was prompt and unobtrusive. A good selection of wines, a good menu,...More

This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The restaurant is a little out of town but definitely worth a visit.

A warm and friendly welcome and right on the high street in Cisternino. There is a nice upstairs terrace that has cover from the sun. The pizzaz was great value with a Margherita costing only 4.5 Euros. Good value local Italian food.

This chef knows that good food can only be appreciated in a total experience. An ambience created with a great setting under the ancient vaults, the open fire and not to forget his own selection of enchanting music making the experience complete. And almost obviously...More

We went into this restaurant on a cold November night, because a car pulled out of a parking space just in front of it. We were heading somewhere else. Wednesday night it was initially very quiet. We were met by the chef who seated us...More

Serving the local food but not really with any style. Ok in terms of what we paid, but wouldn't rush back. Nice interior though and friendly staff.

We went to this pizza place on a week night evening, as it had fairly decent reviews on TripAdvisor. Positives: Nice lady as waitress. She gave us money for parking which is difficult to find in this small town. Very kind. Clean. The tables were...More

This place has reasonable modern decor, but we went for pizza. Sadly, not a wood fired oven (and in puglia, why would you think about getting pizza not from a wood fire?), and the bottom of two out of four pizzas was completely burnt. The...More

Mrs or Mr the pizza could be cocked in many ways in wood fired oven or not, it's not too strange. about the pizzas you says were burnt, why you don't says it before eating everything? Than I said about the terrace that it was...More

This is a wonderful restaurant in lovely Custernino. Very good choice of classic Italian dishes and modern interpretation of traditional fare. Highly recommended. I tried the octopus, the gnocchi and the syrasscinati. Excellent service with an italiN smile.More

We had a great dinner for two at Le Capase this past Friday night. If you go do not skip the anti pasta starter. It is a fabulous tasting menu of the region with purée of fava beans, a brilliant zucchini soufflé, eggplant and lovely...More
