We enjoyed eating in a lot of osterias and trattorias during our holiday...so this place made a nice change to enjoy something a little bit more. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with the wine list, and the owner told us some great stories over his grappa that we mostly understood (he was keen to talk even though our... More

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant while staying in Noto. The interior of the restaurant is very attractive with rounded ceilings and the feeling of a wine cellar. We shared an order of the fusilli to start and then both ordered swordfish. Both were very good. We had the panna cotta to finish followed by coffee and grappa. It was... More

This must be the 4th or 5th time we have been here - the menu changes but the taste and quality remain the highest - service is excellent and wine selection great. This time we had the Cheese and Jam selection and Millefiori, Gnocchi and squid ink pasta, then both the Entrecote - cut like butter! Fantastic - deserves a... More

The food here was delicious and the service was excellent. The dishes were a good size, not too large. We were a large group so were able to try a variety of things. I would definitely recommend the tuna and there version of a caponata, served with a cheese crisp. it was delicious! The local wines were excellent. I would... More

This restaurant was recommended in our guide book, so we searched for it and it was so good. The restaurant has seating inside and outside, but as it was so hot we opted for the air conditioning! The vaulted roof inside gives it character and personality. The staff were very helpful and spent time explaining the menu which was varied... More

Lovely food and beautifully presented. The staff are excellent - I ate on my own and wasn't treated any differently (which sometimes happens...you sometimes get put on the table next to the toilet) very helpful/friendly waiters and it was far the best place I ate in Noto.

Very good restaurant (particularly for sea food as all are in this part of the world) set up a small flight of steps in a road running parallel to and slightly above the main street in Noto. A bit difficult to spot until you are almost there. A small outside terrace - but without a view - where most customers... More

Park on the edge of Noto and walk in, especially if eating before 8 when parking restrictions ease. Has about 5 tables outside and loads indoors. Menu only in Italian but staff able to help with menu choices if you are stuck. Helpful good service and very good food, nicely presented. 3 people had starters, mains, one dessert, a drink... More

We read the reviews for this restaurant and decided we would have lunch there after taking in the sights of Noto.We arrived later than anticipated but the staff were happy to accommodate us and we enjoyed a superb milefeuile and a bottle of rock and roll artisan Sicilan beer,it was 7.5°ABV so be careful if driving. The melanzania was excellent.... More

Description
You will be surprised from its position, the Liberty Restaurant, perched as it is on the side of the Church of Montevergine whose two towers are kindly shade to the small veranda.
Chef Joseph Angelino inventive and skilled craftsmanship, qualities which he cultivated from an early age before studying and then sharing important experiences working with teachers Andrea Galli and Andrea Provenzani.

Today revisits the classical canons of the Sicilian tradition thanks to brilliant innovative ideas, seasonal raw materials and a culinary philosophy that provides only the inner workings of the restaurant. Its menu do not miss anything, from seasonal recipes, always pleasantly surprising dishes available throughout the year: the appetizer Layered Ragusano with julienne vegetables in sweet and sour, the fantastic risotto with almond milk sauce and quail reduction Nero d'Avola, the amazing Sicilian Eggplant parmesan crusted cheese and crunchy vegetables, and among the desserts, the delicious creamy chocolate fudge sauce with tobacco and jelly frappato.
