Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This Trattoria is amazing, fantastic Tuscan ambience and the most delicious food and wine! all the food is locally sourced, authentic Tuscan and just wonderful. Lovely staff and family restaurant vibes. I would recommend trying the house red wine (amazing!), wild boar steak, fried polenta...balls, pasta with fresh tomato and ricotta. Or anything on the menu, there's a lot of choice of fantastic dishes!More

The ones who run this place of good food and nice ambiance spoke to us through an app. Very good food here.

We had a fantastic Tuscan lunch. Nice panzanella, home made gnocchi and a perfect steak. Nice outdoor setting, good service. Will plan for a next visit.

So unassuming, under stated and humble. The food here is just incredible, we loved every bite of every dish. The service is relaxed, personable and super helpful when you don’t speak Italian. We stumbled upon this little gem, but I highly recommend anyone to go...out of their way to stop by. The local wine and desserts are also unbelievable and the prices are difficult to believe. The best experience of Italy so far. If you want an authentic local Tuscan experience, you won’t get better than this anywhere.More

we fall in love with the fried vegetable and the bistecca fiorentina... a perfect couple on wooden plates, near to the fireplace and in a nice atmosphere! from outside it seams to clean and organized, but inside it is charming and special!!!!!! when we left,...we saw roasted pears on spit at the open fire and promised ourselfs, to test them the next time:-)More

I brought a group of 25 people here on our way through Tuscany and I'm so glad I did! Mario was so helpful to work with via email and we selected menus in advance. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and served wine, and...then all the dishes started coming out, family style. All the foods we tried were amazing, and nothing was too complicated. Simple brushettas, grilled meats, figs and salami -- the list goes on and on. It was all so delicious and my group loved it. Highly recommend!More

We were working with some local producers in the area and they recommended us to visit this restaurant before we were heading home. You should definitely do the same. Very friendly owners who will serve you to perfection. And the food is just bloody delicious!...Not to mention the wine cellar which holds some lovely bottles. But don't be in a rush. The food will not come in 5 minutes. Not 10 either. But its worth the time waiting.More

Our GPS diverted us from the main expressway for a few miles due to construction and we stumbled upon this trattoria for lunch. It was a bit difficult even to see from the parking lot since it is down at the bottom of the small...hill and the lovely outdoor patio is covered with grapevines. We ordered the fried vegetables to start which included sage, zucchini, zucchini flowers (my favorite) and potatoes. It was wonderful. My husband had macaroni with artichokes, beans, tomatoes and ham. I had the homemade tagliatelle with duck sauce but I could have had rabbit or wild boar. It was all very good. For dessert we shared a lovely cold marscapone pudding. The 1/4 litro of house wine was more than generous. The menu is in Italian but one of the waiters helped us translate when he saw us using our phone. The trattoria filled up with families and guests from the hotel next door, but they managed the crowd well.More

I don't know how you would find this unless a local showed you where it was. Good Tuscan food, a bit rustic but very satisfying and it offers some very nice local produce from the area, cured meats, olives etc. We went twice and both...times had very nice meals at very competitive prices, oso bucco and pollo diavolo. They also offer a local wine list from the region which was well matched to the food. Don't be put off by the decor and limited English, well worth the effort.More

You are given a warm welcome by the owner as soon as you walk in the door, and the staff maintains his high standard of service throughout your visit. The menu hits all the high notes of classic Tuscan cuisine, but don't miss the Cinta...Senese and Cioncia. Cinghiale (wild boar) was in season during our visit, and was absolutely delicious. This is not a touristy restaurant, so you get to eat authentic food with locals who are friendly and welcoming. Had to laugh at another reviewer who said the "problem" was that everyone spoke Italian and the menus were in Italian. What did that idiot expect, she was in Italy! If an Italian family came to a restaurant in her hometown, would they have menus in that language, and Italian-speaking staff?More
