For very long time, Requinte does have very good Francesinhas. The sauce is quite spicy and all the meat is of good quality! In Matosinhos are one of the best Francesinhas that you can have!

If you like francesinha this is the place to go. Do not expect it to be a fancy place, it's not. Don't expect spectacular service. It's just food on a plate and chips on a platter. That's it. The thing with francesinha is the sauce,...More
Very good service and a well-served portion of Francesinha, but not the best sauce in the city. There are other things to eat but going so far (if you're staying in Oporto) just for the Francesinha it's not woth while.
Restaurant with typical Porto Francesinhas, is a normal Francesinha, not the best served in Porto/Matosinhos. The place is a little bit noisy, but the price is acceptable. Its a good place to go with friends.

The "Francesinha" (literally Little French Girl") is an awesome spin-off of the french "croque monsieur". A trend that started with a returned portuguese emmigrant trying to adapt to local taste, now made into an epic strive for perfection in a dish. Let me tell you...More
