Excellent food and wine. Friendly and obliging staff. The location was good and easy to find. We booked a table but more turned up and they were happy to extend the table.

Kept us waiting and the whole service was hectic, slow and unfriendly. The food was average - not nearly as good as Aydo on Brighton Marina!
We just been to Shiraz Persian Restaurant, I had lamb fillet kebab & mince lamb kebab (Sultani) with rice my wife had chicken (Joojeh) kebab with rice. Food was very good and cooked to perfection, staff are friendly and polite. Price very reasonable for Brighton....We definitely will be back.More
Outstanding!! By far the best Persian Restaurant in Brighton and Hove! The food is so so good and the service very attentive. It was my partner's birthday meal and the lady serving us kindly brought over some Baghlava with a birthday candle in, whilst playing...happy birthday.. such a nice touch as was everyone in the restaurant singing too! Great food, great atmosphere and great service!More
Outstanding. Superb ‘platter for 2’ which offered the perfect blend of value for money and variety. The food was absolutely delicious and I’d have no hesitation in recommending or returning when back in the area.
We went here on my mums birthday. We were a table of 14 but despite the size of our party there were no hitches and food was gorgeous. Everything was served with a smile and they even sang Happy Birthday when they brought mums cake....Would definitely visit again. I would recommend the lamb stew with kidney beans and lime but it was all good.More
Wow! What a gorgeous restaurant! Beautiful authentic food, fantastic staff, so friendly… the best meal I ve had in Brighton so far.. we booked for a large birthday group & we’re so well looked after.. we will be back for sure .
Having previously enjoyed a takeaway, I wanted to experience the food directly from the grill. I was not disappointed. We had the sharing platter for two, which would probably serve three. We took the leftovers home for lunch the next day.
This is a very welcoming place to eat..Food is cooked on the grill in front of diners…..Terrific service, delicious food and welcoming staff. The Kabab Torsh was absolutely divine…An exceptional meal in all the good ways…
It was the worst experience of my life. Have never had such a bad , dry kebab and rice in my life . All grilled Kebabs no matter which we chose were dry and tasteless. The rice wasn't basmati rice and very dry and tasteless....Mastomusir had hardly any musir in it and dolmeh was like ready bought one from can, cold and tasteless. It took over ane hour until we got our mainfood on the table. I will never go back there.More
Delicious fresh food and dips to die for. Service was friendly and attentive. Very busy early on a Saturday evening with the cricket in town but staff were still attentive and friendly.
This place was exceptional.. we had 4 different dishes and could have chosen loads of other menu options ..they were all superb. Decent portions , reasonably priced and friendly and quick service.. they have nailed it here ..
I live in Hove and this is my go-to guarantee for a fantastic meal with friends. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive and the food is fresh and delicious. If you’re pondering what to go for, the shared platter of charcoal-cooked kebabs with a...couple of starters (try the aubergine!) washed down with a glass of wine or a beer will do the trick. You will Not be disappointed.More
This hidden gem of a restaurant takes Hove (Brighton) to the next level I don’t believe 5 stars is enough to express how phenomenal they are in delivering first class service and food! Shiraz you blow the scale not 10/10 but 100/100! Food is fresher...than the day it sprouted from the ground! and delivered with love and passion which is presented in each dish 100%. I am now obsessed with your tea……served over a flaming tea light candle, felt like I was on holiday … you enter the restaurant and greeted with extreme warmth and welcoming as if you were coming home, on this visit we were met by Hungarian Zoltan who was full of life and so inviting, this being our first visit to Brighton and venturing into Hove. Shiraz you are a gem - thank you for a wonderful experience and thank you to zoltan for all the navigation advice!More
First visit on a busy Friday evening. Atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and service terrific. Food was amazing - we shared hummus and halloumi to start then both had boneless chicken skewers. All absolutely delicious!! Value was great too. We’ll definitely be back.
