Why we ever thought this would be good is a mystery . Just a case of being hungry and stopping in the wrong town and the wrong place . Shelton Mallet high street is a bleak dead lifeless area , the huge Tesco at the top of it has done its job by sucking the life out of this small... More

Friendly staff, good advise and good food, nice choice for a tapas diner. Just what you need for lunch with friends.

Came upon this cafe by accident en route to a weekend down in Dorset and decided to have lunch there. What a great decision that turned out to be. Food was absolutely delicious, service excellent and all very reasonably priced. Tastiest lunch I've had out in a long while, would definitely recommend it

Peppers is a real find in Shepton Mallet! The high st needs a lot of TLC, but shops like Peppers make it worth a visit. Lovely deli goods to buy! The cafe, although serving good food needs a bit of an update on the decor. If it was updated it would attract people, not just for the food! But take... More

Although i have only visited the cafe on a few occasions for afternoon tea i am a regular in the deli. The staff are always very kind and helpful and will always order in items for you.At Christmas Peppers was a Pandora's Box for little treats like chocolate covered marzipan and local chocolate made in Evercreech!

Planned a day out at Kilver Court but they could not cater for a coeliac so I had looked on the web for a local alternative. How pleased we were to find this place, they have a separate gluten free menu and also one for dairy free. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. We enjoyed between the four... More

If I am in the town around lunchtime, I will often pick up a filled bap, they are good, but could contain more filling! The staff are friendly, and the shop has some treats available, I have never used the café side.

We use Peppers as a deli and for their catering too, but it is great as a lunch venue- plenty of space for larger groups, and with homemade sandwiches, soups and cakes, all their usual fresh ingredients with a good range on the menu. This is a great family business with Julie and Caroline taking great pride in what they... More
