Visited on recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. The tapas dishes are a lot bigger portions than I expected. Managed 6 before I felt stuffed. The BBQ pork ribs weren’t brilliant; quite tough instead of falling off the bone. All the other dishes we both tried were...More

Had a few meals here a few times now and each time came away feeling like we had a special time. Great service every time and the food is delicious.

Friendly service with some good advice on the available dishes. The lamb chops and black pudding dishes were the best. Unusually for a Spanish themed restaurant, there's no sherry on the drinks menu.

Our Anniversary meal at El Toro was a huge disappointment. Unfortunately it wasn’t the food or the venue it was the shocking service. From the moment we arrived I didn’t feel like we were wanted at all. Didn’t get asked once for another drink or...More

We booked a table at short notice to celebrate our friend's birthday. The management were very helpful fitting us in and the food and service were both brilliant. We've had tapas in Spain and the food served here surpassed most of that we've sampled abroad....More

After reading the reviews we were expecting to have a very pleasant experience. We ordered 12 tapas between our table of 4 as advised by the waiter. Unfortunately only 10 turned up and we had to ask for the other dishes after we'd finished eating...More

The service was appalling, got the wrong dishes multiple times. Servers tried I argue that we had ordered food we had not, and then tried to tack food onto the bill that we had not had. Overall a farce of a place
