We ate here twice (lunch and dinner) on our trip to North Captiva. The fish sandwich was outstanding, and the kids loved the burgers. Great, casual restaurant! We ate once with 6 people and another time with 20, both times they accommodated our group!

Pretty good food, very casual and always able to get a seat within 30 minutes. On the bay. Kids loved it.

Food and service was good here but it was expensive like everything else on the island. All things considered, they were not out of line with regard to price. If you want an inexpensive meal, stick to the mainland.

This place sits right on the water. You can dine inside or outside. There is corn hole and a sandbox to play in while you wait or while you eat. The menu is fairly impressive for being on an island. The prices were not any more than I would expect inland. The server was very good and knowledgeable. The restaurant... More

Spent a week on North Captiva and ate here with the family 4 times. Some times were busier than others but our servers (Shawn/Sean) were always attentive and engaging. We tried something different every meal, but really enjoyed the fritters, jerk shrimp and crab cakes as appetizers. The various seafood dishes were all very tasty - the food was all... More

The food was fantastic but the prices are high. It was $100 for two of us to eat. This included an appetizer, two entrees and a $6 beer. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It is definitely worth visiting at least once if you want fresh seafood.

It was fun to arrive at this restaurant by boat. There was a friendly dock master to assist. We just had a fifteen minute wait for our picnic table outside. Unfortunately the very long wait after ordering the meal took away from the enjoyment of the place. The cold beer in a bucket was delivered quite promptly to the eight... More

We visited Barnacle Restaurant several place during our stay on North Captiva with our two small kids. The atmosphere is special, easy and relaxed, people are friendly. The kids loved to play around in the little playground outdoors. The icecream is very good, and the fish very fresh and the lobster & crab & shrimp salad just perfect! A *must... More

Came here for beer and snacks between lunch and dinner. Great beer selection, and like the 5th beer for free (counts as a bucket). Conch fritters were tasty. Staff was great, and atmosphere is very family friendly.
