We reserved a table for four adults for a mid-week lunch. The "joint was jumpin", as usual with locals and visitors. Small but pleasant, family-run eatery, with charming helpful staff and delicious, interesting dishes. Generous portions and super recipes make for memorable meals. Super salads and baked mussells paved the way for scrumptious steak and fish mains. Desserts to die... More

A small restaurant - booking is recommended - serving local Cassoulet. It was very good and inexpensive

Plain but tasty.good quality food. Not exciting but very delicious, simple local dishes, including cassoulet. Reasonably priced three courses and busy with regulars and tourists alike Limited space, all indoors, means reservations are essential. Friendly, family-run business, with pleasant service and ambiance. Never promises what it can't deliver.

French country cooking rather than haute cuisine, but none the worse for that. Lovely food, good value. We paid €48 for two three course meals and a bottle of house wine. Packed on a Tuesday evening, popular with French folk, need to book in advance.

So we went here based on other reviews. We are way more concerned with the quality of the meal as opposed to large portions. I'm guessing this was so highly rated because the portions are large and prices reasonable so if that is your priority you will be very happy here. Gosh I was really hoping for great cassoulet. Not... More

Small but perfectly-formed restaurant . . . excellent, tasty food in a convivial atmosphere with hard-working staff delivering generous portions. Would thoroughly recommend booking here . . . if you don't, you may be lucky if you go early enough but, more likely, you'll be turned away.

We wanted to eat a proper cassoulet and try the food from the area. We were advised to go there and I must say it was the best idea ever! The restaurant is cozy, clean and oldish but easily located in town. It's a typical local restaurant. Don't expect any fancy decoration and I don't think they should even change... More

we took the 'menu de découvert', the salade and main dish(cassoulet) are both delicious. the red wine we command(Fitou) is not to my taste because it is a little sweet, but my friend liked it. i took the dessert of 'coupe de gazouillis' which is the home-idea ice-cream, with a little alcool in it, very good creation. my friend took... It's been a while since we ate here......can't think why? It's a delight! So glad we booked. Place was full, and many were turned away. Four of us ate Sunday lunch and we all enjoyed every bite. My "moules" were amongst he best I ever ate, whilst the other starters were generous, yet plates were cleared. Mains also did a... More

We found this restaurant via trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. Booked for an evening meal which was a good idea, as it turned out! As another reviewer commented, it was like walking into someone's front room! The restaurant was almost full when we arrived and most of the clientele were French - always a good sign, in my opinion.... More
