Amazing food, all roman recipes, cacio e pepe, carbonara, coda alla vaccinara, carciofi alla giudea/romana, etc. Abundant portions and cheap price. Two ladies own the restaurant and they really make you feel at home.
If you are staying at Fiumicino airport and want a great, authentic meal close by (taxi ride - 14mins) then you must come here. The food was so delicious and it was obviously a local favorite. We were the only tourists in the restaurant and...it was a delight. One of our favorite meals of our vacation. We had 4 different pastas, lamb main dish and a delicious wine. And the prices were very reasonable. If you are looking for delicious food and authentic atmosphere then don’t miss this place!More
We were staying in Fiumicino for one night before our flight back home and looking for a place to eat. The restaurant is small and simple, but truly delicious. The pasta was homemade (for an extra charge) but it was worth it! The staff was...very welcoming and overall our experience was very good.More
After travelling all around Italy for the past few weeks, we can hands down say that this was the best Carbonara we've had. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was good. We ordered a starter, first course and dessert with side of...Limoncello. If you are an explorer and a foodie then this small Trattoria in the rural area of Fumicino is the one for you!More
I have no words to explain how amazing this place is. I live in Miami and I took my local relatives out for dinner. The food is the result of passion and knowledge of real traditional Roman food. Well beyond the usual stuff you would...get in the city. Well worth the drive from Roma. The ambiance and the friendly attitude of the cook Roberta (she doesn’t want to be called a chef) and owner Cinzia is incredibly humble. As I said, words can’t explain how great this place is just go!!! I’m a bit of food snob and I was really impressed by the whole experience. BRAVO!!!More
Very rude staff and discriminatory. I'm going to assume that this was at some point a good mom and pop place thus the good reviews but now they are just full of themselves. I've traveled all over the world, you don't have to put up...with rude behavior to eat good food.More
Not a fancy restaurant, just good down-to-earth Italian food. Excellent. I found the homemade pasta a bit on the "al dente" side, but I think that's the way the locals prefer it. Notwithstanding, everything was fresh and delicious. Ate too much.
Excellent typical food with nice people! The homemade pasta in particular are worth it. We would definitely come back :)
We had the best meal in Italy in this place! I only have photo of dessert, but everything was so good.
Staff was rude, spoke to people over us and ignored us, we ordered wine and bread and they didn’t bring it to us for over an hour when we asked again. Food was disgusting, water was horrible. I could’ve made better pasta from a box,...and they charged us extra money for “homemade” pasta. Scam!!More
We follow reviews and they were not wrong. We had meatballs, homemade pasta, the oxtail... and fried artichoke... It was unbelievably good... service was excellent very friendly. It s without a doubt one of the best meal i ever had.
I lived in Rome for 17 years. Whenever I return, I make sure to stop at this restaurant! The ammatriciana (red sauce with bacon actually guanciale) is my favorite dish! My wife ordered the carbonara (bacon and eggs) with homemade fettuccine! Both dishes were excellent!...We split the roasted lamb and potatoes. The fried artichoke (carciofi alla Romana) was so good! Everything is skillfully made with quality ingredients. I always ask about the specials of the day because they are always interesting and delicious! I highly recommend this place to my American brethren! It's tucked away and hard to find but worth the effort.More
Outstanding! Real family business, honest local food, real family feeling You have to go there if you wanna taste "la romanità" Highly, highly , highly recommended
Glad we found this place and a table was pulled outside for us by lovely couple who ran this place, to enjoy a beautiful evening. Meatballs and egg/onion appetizer were best tastes we had on trip as well as fresh pasta with white sauce. Ask...for their recommendations and you can’t go wrong. Complimentary peach drinks delivered to everyone was a nice touch. Loved this place!More
