If you want a good meal and friendly staff and environment then you wont be disappointed. We enjoy both Sunday breakfast and Sunday dinner depending on our timescale. The steak and ale pie is absolutely fabulous

Wonderful from walking in till leaving! Warm friendly welcome from the bar, our waitress Chloe looked after us all night, nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived fresh, plentiful and beautifully cooked, nothing to find fault with. Can highly recommend with confidence.

we used to visit this pub and they had good value, good choice "special luncheds" for £5 each. suddenly these were withdrawn and we found the lunch menus were more for evening meals. a pity ........

Enjoyed a wonderful 3 course birthday meal on xmas eve. The food was beautifully served. Looked and tasted amazing. The new owners went the extra mile. Still under doing refurbishment in the bar, the restaurant however, was beautifully presented and decorated. Would definitely recommend and return. We loved it.

Based on the recommendation of a friend, we booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday lunchtime. 2 chose the lasagne from the 2 for £10 lunchtime specials whilst the others had the chicken dish of the day (sweet and sour chicken) and the sausage and mash. We were all delighted with the speedy appearance of the tasty and attractively... More

After hearing great reviews we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. 4 of us ordered off the 2 for £10 menu and had lasagne with salad and garlic bread. I can honestly say it was the best lasagne we have ever tasted. It was homemade and full of tomatoes and herbs. The burger was juicy and... More

We came in for lunch, we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff. Me and my partner chose our food. It arrived shortly after ordering, looked rather good! However the taste was disappointing, the chips were black, and very dry, the burger was described as "gourmet" yet was just a standard 6 oz burger with cheese on top. Didn't... More
