Food was excellent quality and value. However ambience and surroundings didn't match. Manager/bar lady could have been more welcoming and engaging. Waitress was very polite and helpful. Not dog friendly.

We visited today for the first time. Enjoyed a relaxed lunch with my mum on her birthday. The choice from the menu was varied and very reasonably priced. When the food came it was delicious. Kate was an excellent waitress. Highly recommended.

Good attentive service. Very varied menu. Chef patron. Modern English. I live quite nearby. Been many times. Mostly never disappoints. My friend from NYC was very impressed. And she's a vegan. With teeth braces. Praise indeed

I'm not sure if this is a CAMRA listed pub, but it usually has at least 3 beers on draught and Black Shhep & Copper Dragon seem to be frequent.
