Very disappointing dining experience. The fish of the day was warehou but it was over cooked, the noodles were oily and I don’t consider a few red and yellow peppers seasonal vegetables! I expressed my disappointment to the waitress and she offered a free dessert,...which I did not want and would not have ordered. I would have expected to be offered a discount, given the price of $39. This meal was the worst I have had in a restaurant and I would not eat here again.More

Overpriced and overcooked… I waited for about 40 minutes- and I was the only person who had ordered at that time. Goodness knows what the wait would have been if it had been busy. The lamb sounded great - rosemary mash, pea purée, jus -...medium rare cooked rack of lamb. Lamb was past medium and the portion size of the mash and purée for the $45 cost of this dish…well…they’re obviously trying to push desert!! All a bit meh really. Won’t rush back.More

I just expected so much better! With the prices charged I just expected something much, much better but it really just wasn’t. The entrees were ok but the mains were so dry - between us we had the pork chop and the Moroccan chicken, truthfully...you couldn’t taste the difference between the two, the juices were dried out of them completely! And seriously $9 for a bottle of Tui - you know you can buy a dozen for like $22 at the supermarket which is less than $2 a bottle! I get that covid has screwed things up but overcharging on things like this just make us not interested in coming back. Kyla, our server was the best thing about this dinner - she was polite, friendly and courteous throughout.More

The conference for about 100 guests was booked several months prior with accurate numbers etc.and constantly updated. The set menu, although adequate, was basic. Of the 8 people on our table, 6 had the sirloin stake (I should mention that the previous night 28 of...us decided, last minite, to dine in. Exactly same menu, was DELICIOUS), 5 left at lease half and one had only one bite taken. A glance around the room revealed exactly the same!! VERY TOUGH!! The baked cheesecake tasted burnt and when inspected, was indeed burnt! $55 ripoffMore

The glasses of wine that I received were from 2 nearly empty different bottles and tasted like vinegar. After stating this to Toby he said he would check the date of the bottles. When ordering coffee later I then asked Toby again about the date...of the wine bottles. He admitted that both bottles were out of date. As a regular customer I am extremely disappointed.More

The food was nice but the service was appalling, first the staff argued with us about not having a booking, eventually they found our booking. We had to ask for water twice, we had to ask for drinks and to place our order. We never...got to see the desert menus as the restaurant was closing. Our booking was for 6.30pm Friday night. If I could rate this restaurant any lower I would, don’t bother going if you appreciate service.More

Lovely setting and awesome staff, particularly Keisha who was an awesome ambassador for the business. I was disappointed that the group of truckers that had been drinking in the bar were seated behind us. Their language was loud and appalling , and their standard of...dress terrible. One was wearing gumboots !1 I felt like i was eating in a public bar. The meal came with seasonal vegetables ........ 3 strips of courgettes, a couple pieces of onion and a couple of pieces of peppers. The sauce accompanying my meal was cold, it even had a skin formed on it.I felt it to be a budget offering.More
