My wife and I have rented a gite nearby for several years but never dined here. This year, we ‘took the plunge’. We didn't need to book as it was still early in the season. The setting is pleasant; the restaurant is located off the...More
Best duck confit i've ever had! We were certainly the only non french eating there that night but between my poor french, google translate, and their broken english it wasn't a problem. Had the menu terroir which included: foi gras terrine and torchon starter, excellent...More
Ate here one evening, had very plain food and it was really good. Soup, omelette with salad and dessert with wine and coffee. It was served quickly and the staff coped with our large party without fuss.

Lovely simple farm/traditional food done perfectly. Lovely menu, very reasonably priced, friendly staff. Definitely a place not to miss. The food is similar to other restaurants in the area but better.
This was one of the best meals of our 3-week trip in the Dordogne. The typical dishes were simply all well above average here. Don't miss it! Be aware that their opening nights are unpredictable during September so check ahead and make a reservation.
