We stopped by for a lunch time sandwich and pint. Sat outside in the sun. Decent sandwich served with a tasty pint. Friendly staff. Great location on your way to visit the dams. Possibly the last pub before the dams...look out for the little sign...More

Characterful old Inn, serving good food and ales - packed full of locals - always a good sign. Loos are over the road though!

We had lunch here on Saturday lunchtime, very busy, but very friendly. Great service and lovely food. Would highly recommend this quaint pub.

Lovely little pub. Not big so get there early or book. Challenging for tall people (ceilings very low!) but good ambiance, good service and good pub grub.

Lovely quaint old 16th century pub. Really friendly staff, fabulous food, great views of the river from a big seat in the window. We had the best steak meal ever. If you like a good ale, try Butty Bach...!! Locals drink it...

We just love this place. It is small, almost cramped and always full. The service is friendly and relaxed, the food is good, plates are warm and the wine is certainly drinkable. You have to book. And it is worth it.

Hi yes we are but only in part of the pub, so it’s a good idea to book and say your bringing your dog so we can get you seated in the right place.
