Really lovely lunch with super friendly service. As vegetarians they were really accommodating and their tofu is that lovely puffed version! The iced tea was really nice too.

Went with my husband, the food is lovely, love the rice (nasi goreng?). Absolutely loved it! We had four courses too (including the hand made desserts🍨). We had the best time. Service was lovely too, spoke to the manager, she told me the story of...why she opened the restaurant! Keep it up!More

My friend and I fancied some Thai food for lunch so decided to go to Sukawatee. I am really glad we did! We arrived and the restaurant was not that busy but it soon filled up. They do a lunchtime deal where it is #10.50...for a main course which is really good value. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive and it was really tasty. The ladies that served us were very friendly and welcoming. Very impressive and I will definitely return!More

Lovely tasty food on a wintry day. My Japanese friend and I enjoyed the flavours of dumplings, rice, and sauces. Good friendly service.

Great food, great service BUT the condensation! It really needs a dehumidifier, as the air is full of condensation and has been the same for years, the windows are wet constantly with no ventilation... not good!

I believe it’s rude to lick the plate. Always like to stop in to Sukawatee if in need of sustainance in Hitchin. A warm welcome and great value testy food.

We didn't book to go here, so were very lucky to get a table, as it's so busy. The ladies working here are amazing, literally do not stop! The service was brilliant, never waited more than a few minutes for anything. And the food was...out of this world. So fresh, hot and super tasty. Can not rate this place highly enough.More

Tried this restaurant as reviews were good. The food was okay but not as good as expected. However the wine list was extremely disappointing; very little choice and whilst I accept there is always a high percentage mark-up on price, all appear to be purchased...very cheaply in a supermarket. Although the white wine was served in a cooler the bottle was warm. Had to ask for a glass of iced water to pour into the cooler. There are better alternatives in HitchinMore
